The Opportunity
For this influential role we are looking for an experienced
Financial Controller
to lead our finance team and drive our financial strategy. Reporting into our Chief Financial Officer you will be a detail-oriented professional with a proven track record in ASX-listed environments managing financial performance and operations statutory financial and reporting compliance, managing risk and providing strategic financial guidance to support the company's growth. Demonstrated experience in a similar role within an Australian ASX Listed organisation is essential.
Your day-to-dayNo two days are the same; this role is diverse, with depth and breadth to cement your career, now and into the future. Areas of core responsibility include, but are not limited to:Execute the Finance strategy for G8 including demonstrating financial market understandingLead financial operational activities including financial accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, treasury and other key finance mattersOptimise financial operational performance and processes whilst managing risk and ensuring an appropriate control environmentDelivering accurate and timely financial reporting including compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and to support dealings with investors, lenders and other stakeholdersContribute to the financial planning process to deliver robust forecasts and budgetsContribute to the capital management strategy for the Group to deliver it in line with the Group's strategyAbout YouYou thrive in a fast-paced and engaging work environment, valuing strong partnerships, collaboration, and a commitment to excellence.
