Financial Controller

Join a leading aged care provider as the Financial Controller leading a team of 10. Your new company Hays are working with a leading Tasmanian Aged Care provider who has a presence right across Tasmania. With a head office in greater Hobart, they are seeking a capable Financial Controller to join their team on a permanent full-time basis. Your new role Based in greater Hobart and reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, in this role you'll be responsible for the finance, taxation and administration functions of the organisation. You'll manage the day-to-day finance function with passion and ensure sound financial control across the entity. You'll be the central point of contact during the Internal & External Audit, ensuring statutory reporting is completed. You'll also ensure group monthly reporting, including forecasting, is completed in an accurate and timely manner. You'll also maintain effective stakeholder relationships across the broader business and enjoy challenging the way things have historically been done. What you'll need to succeed CA/CPA qualified, you'll be a people-focused leader and have the proven ability to consistently meet tight deadlines in a busy environment. You'll have well-developed communication skills, exceptional attention to detail and an analytical mindset which lends itself to problem-solving. A high-level proficiency in excel is also essential, and you'll enjoy problem-solving with key stakeholders right across the organisation. This is an excellent role for someone looking to lead a team of 10 with the support of a CFO. You'll also be prepared to undergo a national police & WWVP Check prior to commencement.
