This role offers the chance to be a key player in ensuring we continue to deliver top-tier service to our customers and stakeholders.Your Role:As the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for end-to-end control, reporting, and reconciliation of results. The nature of the role is to drive continual improvement and work with senior management to enhance the finance function for our customers, internal stakeholders, and for management.Key Areas of Responsibility:Manage and oversee timely and accurate month-end completionPerform comprehensive financial analysis, forecasting, and modelling of company performance on a monthly basisCoordinate the annual tax return process and liaise with external advisorsCoordinate the annual audit and oversee financial reportingTax compliance (BAS, PAYG, payroll tax)Management of banking, treasury, and taxation functions with the CFOMonitoring and management of payroll function across the GroupEnsure that systems and processes are optimised, efficient, and appropriateReview of transactional reports and processes such as weekly payroll, weekly payment runs, debtor reports, and the likeMentor and manage the accounts teamOur Ideal Candidate:Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or businessCA / CPA QualificationMinimum of 5 years experience in financial accountingOutstanding time management, organisation, and planning skills, with a strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise multiple deadlines and tasks.Excellent verbal and written communication skills to build and maintain internal and external relationships.Providing leadership, direction, and management of the finance and accounting teamManaging the processes for financial forecasting and budgets, and overseeing the preparation of all financial reportingIf this sounds like you, please apply with your resume and a covering letter addressed to the HR Department, detailing why you are the right person for this position.Your application will include the following questions:Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?How many years' experience do you have as a financial controller?Have you completed a qualification in accounting?How many years of accounting experience do you have?#J-18808-Ljbffr
