The Opportunity We're seeking a motivated, experienced Financial Controller to join our growing business at our Brookvale NSW head office. Managing a team of 3, you will lead all aspects of transactional and technical accounting for Australia and New Zealand as well as partnering with the Executive Team on ways to scale for strategic growth. You will work diligently to ensure accounts are up to date, tax obligations are met, and reporting is both timely and accurate to assist in commercial decision making.
Key Responsibilities: Own the forecasting, budgeting, CAPEX, P&L, balance sheet and cash flow reporting process Own month end and year end close process with associated commentary to support financial outcomes Work closely with the external tax accountancy firm to ensure tax compliance for Australia and New Zealand Prepare and submit BAS and ensure adherence to taxation requirements Manage payroll operations for all channels including preparation, processing and compliance with relevant regulations Improve Financial processes and identify key drivers of revenue to enable improvements in financial performance Provide support and guidance to direct reports, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment About You First and foremost, you'll have a great attitude and willingness to partner with key stakeholders in the business Excellent written and verbal communication skills. An ability to communicate financials to non-finance staff Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to work under tight deadlines Demonstrated ability to manage a team We love what we do!
