Given the business's current stage, each role has a broad scope, and they seek individuals who prioritize culture and relationship-building.This organization is ideal for someone interested in joining a company in its early growth phase, with a passion for biotechnology or research, or someone seeking an end-to-end finance role.About the RoleAccountable for all day-to-day finance activities and in some cases other admin ad-hoc work.Complete the month-end process adhering to strict timelines.Prepare internal and external monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packages.Accountable for all monthly general ledger balance sheet account and sub ledger reconciliations.Manage all tax matters.Develop monthly management reports as required.Develop compliance and governance processes relating to business processes ensuring that accounting policies, procedures and manuals are fully complied with.System and process improvement as the business scales.Manage a small team offshore.Skills & ExperienceCPA/CA Qualified backed with a relevant degree.Either have experience in a larger organisation having worked in multiple finance roles or worked as a Senior Financial Accountant/Finance Manager/Senior Manager in a small business.Management experience of 1/2 people.Must have exceptional communication skills including business writing.Xero experience (not a must)CultureCollaborative working environmentDaily exposure to senior leadership teamFlexible working - 3 days in the office and 2 working from homeGrowing business, broad roles, fast paced!!Competitive package and equityHow to ApplyClick APPLY or contact Charlie on ****** for a confidential discussion.www.charterhouse.com.au
