We manufacture goods that you see, touch, and use every day and our customer base includes some of the biggest names in FMCG, Retail and Fresh Produce.Discover the Opportunity....We have an exciting role to join our Opal Fibre Packaging business based in Knoxfield. As the Financial Controller you will be responsible for providing support to the GM Commercial Fibre Australia through managing the monthly reporting, forecasting, and budget process. This role will coordinate the state finance managers ensuring all work is completed to a high quality within deadlines while also assisting with compliance to internal processes & controls.You will contribute to the success of Opal by:Participating in the timely completion and management of month-end reporting and the forecasting and budgeting process for the region.Presenting forecasts to the General Manager Commercial and Group General Manager (GGM) with the relevant analysis and commentary.Coordinating the month forecast processes ensuring states accurately complete all requirements.Participating in and driving improvements to the Day 3 and monthly forecast process.Assisting in the provision of information covering variations to budget and forecast and options regarding business opportunities around variances.Preparing monthly MIR, MMR & Productivity Reports.Performing regular 1 on 1's with direct reports as a means to support them.It is an exciting time to join the Opal team as we continue to lead and grow as a packaging solution provider. We embrace diversity in all its forms, and we look for curious individuals who are looking to thrive in an environment of change.Specifically, for this role, we expect you will have:A Degree in Finance, Accountancy or Commerce.A Post Graduate Qualification of either CPA or CA.Significant experience in working in a large-scale multi-site organisation (8+ years).Solid working knowledge of costing in a manufacturing environment; including BOM, manufacturing standard costing.An understanding of general ledger reporting, forecasting, & budgeting.Exposure to ERP systems and costing systems (SAP essential).For more information please contact Ruth Messenger: ****** or jump right in by sending us your CV.
