The Opportunity For this influential role we are looking for an experienced Financial Controller to lead our finance team and drive our financial strategy.
Reporting into our Chief Financial Officer you will be a detail-oriented professional with a proven track record in ASX-listed environments managing financial performance and operations statutory financial and reporting compliance, managing risk and providing strategic financial guidance to support the company's growth.
Demonstrated experience in a similar role within an Australian ASX Listed organisation is essential.

Areas of core responsibility include, but are not limited to:
Execute the Finance strategy for G8 including demonstrating financial market understanding Lead financial operational activities including financial accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, treasury and other key finance matters Optimise financial operational performance and processes whilst managing risk and ensuring an appropriate control environment Delivering accurate and timely financial reporting including compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and to support dealings with investors, lenders and other stakeholders Contribute to the financial planning process to deliver robust forecasts and budgets Contribute to the capital management strategy for the Group to deliver it in line with the Group's strategy About You You thrive in a fast-paced and engaging work environment, valuing strong partnerships, collaboration, and a commitment to excellence.

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills and experience:
A degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field with CPA or CA equivalent Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role in an ASX-listed environment Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and financial analysis Proficiency in financial management software and tools Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage stakeholders at all levels Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Hold, or be willing to obtain, a valid working with children check Benefits Include: Competitive salary package Work From Home & Hybrid working conditions encouraged.
