The Role Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Financial Controller will play a crucial role in the finance team and be responsible for end-to-end financial control, with a strong focus on financial processes and cost management. Your role will be pivotal in driving the success of the organisation through commercial and operational strategic insights and advice.
Main duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Managing month-end cycle and management reporting, including oversight of profit and loss, balance sheet, general ledger, and fixed assets.Preparing and delivering financial statements and managing the external audit process for year-end and half-year accounts.Managing the Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Accounting finance team and their deliverables.Preparing and maintaining cash flow forecasts.Reviewing and understanding current processes surrounding P&L and balance sheet reconciliations and cash flow forecasting to identify areas of improvement and automation.Engaging with non-finance managers to improve information and data flows.Leading change management within finance and across the business to maintain and develop cultural improvements.Your Profile Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or post-graduate qualification in accounting, business administration, or another related fieldCPA, CA, or other relevant qualificationExperience in a high-growth, fast-paced changing environment or a desire and enthusiasm around change and transformation.Experience working in inventory-based industries is advantageous but not essential.Ideally, a background in public practice, audit, or advisory.
