Full timeJoin a Tasmanian Success story as a Financial Controller based in a central Hobart location.Your new companyHays are working with a leading Tasmanian Food Manufacturing organisation in their search for a Financial Controller to join their team on a permanent full-time basis. Having been in operation for over 40 years, they are renowned for an excellent product and having a strong community focus.Your new roleBased in a central greater Hobart location and reporting into the CEO, you'll be responsible for the finance and taxation functions of the group. You'll manage the day-to-day finance function with passion and ensure sound financial control across all entities. You'll also ensure group monthly reporting, including forecasting, is completed in an accurate and timely manner whilst maintaining effective stakeholder relationships across the broader business. You will enjoy challenging the way things have historically been done.What you'll need to succeedCA/CPA qualified, you'll be an outcome focused leader and have the proven ability to consistently meet tight deadlines within an industry environment. You'll have well developed communication skills, exceptional attention to detail and an analytical mindset which lends itself to problem solving. A high-level proficiency in excel is also essential, along with excellent system's capability, and you'll enjoy identifying and implementing solutions with key stakeholders right across the organisation. This is an excellent role for someone looking to lead a team and operate with a high level of autonomy in an organisation that is continuing to experience growth.
