About the role...
The Financial Controller is responsible for ensuring our financial systems, processes and outputs are appropriate to support the growing complexity and locations of our operations.
This is a capability building role which will help lead change to improve systems, reporting and processes for financial operations and governance.
The Financial Controller will manage and oversee all financial operations across multiple jurisdictions, including the preparation of accurate financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
This role will be a key transformational leader in the finance team and a driver of technology adoption and the refinement of processes for timely and accurate financial reporting including coordination of year-end audit.
They will also be responsible for the coordination and consolidation of financial reports from multiple business units in international jurisdictions, including Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom.
Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to senior management for optimize performance, cost control, and profitability.
This role ensures compliance with accounting standards and regulations, while implementing efficient financial controls and systems.
This full-time opportunity is based at our Head Office in Southport, Gold Coast.

About you.. .
Formal qualifications (CA/CPA) and considerable practical experience in financial management, reporting and control Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, or finance Successful people leader having driven organisational and cultural change Digital transformation experience - hands on experience/implementation of financial systems including Oracle NetSuite, Workday/Adaptive Understanding of advanced accounting, performance reporting systems, regulatory and compliance issues, and tax planning in multiple jurisdictions Australian and international financial management experience, preferably with NZ and/or the UK Skilled in financial analysis, assessment and business case development Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage a number of projects simultaneously and to tight deadlines A highly analytical mindset with superb problem-solving skills Ability to liaise confidently and effectively at all levels both internally and with external vendors Next steps...
