As an e-commerce-driven business with fast moving inventory and financial operations, we're seeking a skilled Financial Controller to become a key part in our senior leadership team and help us achieve our growth targets.

Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage all finance functions of the business, ensuring accurate financial operations and reporting.Prepare and oversee detailed budgets and financial forecasts with a focus on how to make big growth targets possible.Look after all cash flow functions and planning to ensure capital is being used efficiently and at all times we have a clear view of future financial positions.Produce accurate ongoing monthly financial statements and management reports.Provide actionable insights into cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements at all times.Help manage inventory processes, valuations, forecasting, and reporting.Partner with supply chain teams to evaluate procurement strategies and minimize excess and create efficiencies.Implement and enhance financial systems and tools tailored for inventory and e-commerce operations.Streamline financial processes to improve efficiency and data accuracy across departments.Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and inventory valuation principles.Action all bookkeeping processes and payroll tasks.Collaborate closely with key departments, including Marketing, Operations and Supply Chain.Contribute to long-term planning, including expansion into new markets or product categories. Requirements: Proven track record in a fast growing inventory focused company.Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. CPA or CA qualification preferred.Expertise in inventory accounting, costing methods, and forecasting.Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., Xero, ERP systems, Payment Processing Platforms, Excel etc).Strong analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills.Detail-oriented and highly organised with a proactive approach to challenges.Thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments with a hands-on approach.Familiarity with financial regulations, accounting principles, and tax laws relevant to a growing business.Growth mindset with an ability to find a way and make things happen.This role will be required to work onsite at all times.
