Our Client is a Territory owned and operated business, providing a wide range of waste, recycling and environmental solutions across the Northern Territory. Working with residential and industrial clients, including supporting the NT's largest government and industrial projects. This is an ideal opportunity for a driven individual looking to go far and the perfect time to join this business and become a key member of the team.About the Role & Responsibilities:Planning, directing and coordinating all accounting functions within the business.Provide accurate and timely financial reports on a daily / weekly / monthly basis.Prepare BAS, Payroll tax and other statutory obligations.Prepare and manage cash flow, budget and forecasting functions on a daily / weekly / monthly basis.Manage and Mentor Accounts officers.Continuous improvement in the Manufacturing process.Oversee the payroll and asset management functions for the business.Provide guidance on a variety of financial and accounting matters.Liaise with external accounts at year end.Ensure compliance with statutory law, finance and tax regulations.To be successful for this role, you will need the following:CPAExperience in a Financial Controller's role within a business environment.Experience in Managing a finance teamSound accounting and business taxation knowledgeExcellent organisational, planning and time management skillsDemonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects and stakeholdersAttention to detail.Demonstrated ability to interpret Industrial Awards, and provide accurate advice when requiredAbility to work independently and under minimal supervisionPunctuality and ReliabilityCurrent and valid NT Driver's LicenseBenefits:Permanent Full Time PositionAttractive Salary PackageJoin a hands-on Territory owned and operated Team.CoreStaff is a leader in workplace diversity, and we encourage applications from Indigenous Australians for all roles, females for non-traditional female roles, and applicants with disabilities to apply for all of our jobs.If this sounds like you, apply now!
