Financial Controller - Hotels & Resorts

Your RoleDrive superior financial performance of the hotel and provide business support to key stakeholders of the business.
Manage the overall financial operations of the hotel to ensure the security of hotel assets.
Provide management with timely financial analysis & reporting for effective decision making.
Manage day-to-day activities, plan and assign work, and establish performance and development goals for team members.
Provide mentoring, coaching and regular feedback to help manage conflict, improve team member performance, and recognise good performance.Maximise cash flow performance of the hotel through controls on inventory, credit and collection, disbursements, deposits and remittances.Prepare financial statements and forecasts for the hotel.Respond quickly to guest requests in a friendly manner.
Follow up to ensure guest satisfaction.Ensure accounting practices, support the guest experience through payment options, inventory controls and financial dispute resolution.Implement and maintain acceptable accounting practices as required by company policy and procedures.About You Bachelor's degree of equivalent in Accounting, Finance or Commerce.4-8 years' experience in Hotel accounting or audit with at least 1 year as a Manager of Finance & Business Support or similar supervisory role.Professional accounting or finance designation or certification such as CPA or ICA preferred.Knowledge of accounting fundamentals and taxation; experience performing asset management duties; providing business projections well regarded.What to do nowTo register your interest in this dynamic position, submit your current confidential CV via the application link or visit thechilligroup.com.au.
