As the Senior Finance Manager, you will lead a team responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis for our global operations.
In addition to managing day-to-day accounting functions, you will focus on the technical aspects of M&A accounting, supporting the integration of new acquisitions and ensuring compliance with financial reporting standards.
You'll work closely with the ELT, providing insights and analysis to aid decision-making on high-impact transactions.
Your people management skills will be vital, as you will guide, mentor, and motivate an established team to maintain performance excellence and quality of output.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and develop a team of finance professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure ongoing growth and performance;
Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, ensuring regulatory and policy compliance, particularly in M&A activities;
Collaborate with senior finance leadership and the ELT on strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting to drive informed decision-making;
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance team efficiency and streamline financial operations;
Support internal and external audit requirements as needed, ensuring adherence to accounting standards, including M&A-specific standards.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative and dynamic environment where you can make a tangible impact.
You will be joining an organisation that values talent and nurtures career growth while providing an inclusive, supportive environment.
Key Requirements:
Proven experience in a finance management role, ideally within the fund management or financial services sector, with a strong technical focus on M&A accounting;
Strong people management skills, with a track record of nurturing high-performing teams;
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with strong attention to detail;
Professional accounting qualification (CA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent);
Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with senior stakeholders, including the ELT.
If you have a passion for leading teams and are ready to take on a role with real responsibility, we would love to hear from you.
