As the Financial Controller, you will partner with the Directors and General Manager to provide visibility and clarity on the financial performance of the business. Managing a small team, you will have the opportunity to grow your career and become the CFO whilst building the finance function.You should possess the confidence to take initiative and contribute valuable insights, while being comfortable handling routine finance tasks. You have a growth mindset that enables you to enhance and support commercial decision-making within the organisation.The ChallengeAs Financial Controller, you will play a pivotal role in shaping their financial strategy and ensuring operational excellence. Your responsibilities will involve but not be limited to:Managing daily finance operations, including financial planning - forecasting, analysis and providing actionable insightsCompleting month end, including balance sheet reconciliationsPreparing monthly financial reporting through to Directors and the General ManagerPreparing annual budgetsAnalysis of financial data and collaborate with wider business divisionsPreparing payroll, accounts payable and receivableIdentifying and improving systems and processesThe ExpertisePlease consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:You are a qualified CA or CPA with 6-9 years of professional working experienceYou are excited by fast growing and progressive environmentsHands-on approach, highly driven, and outcomes-oriented, with adaptability in fast-paced, lean environmentsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with advanced Excel proficiency, including financial modellingExceptional communication, collaboration, and leadership abilities, with a focus on developing high-potential talentThe Next StepIf this position will enhance your career and you would like further details on the client, the role, remuneration or a copy of the position description, please call Susan Fouche for a confidential discussion on 0428 915 103.
