The opportunity for U
We're now on the lookout for a Financial Controller to take ownership of the financial, management and compliance reporting functions of the consolidated GBST group.
You will also be responsible for leading our Finance systems, processes and internal controls.As an experienced Leader, you will be skilled at inspiring your team, driving process improvement and delivering accurate and timely financial reporting.
Your role will provide you with opportunity to exercise your exceptional relationship management skills while working with a variety of stakeholders including Directors, Executive Auditors and external agencies.Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this is a permanent full time opportunity to join a diverse team in a global company.

What U will do:Lead and coach your team to deliver high quality outcomesManage the month end process, producing Management and Board reporting packs for the consolidated Group and Divisional businesses including variance analysis and insightful commentaryPrepare financial statements for AU and UK in accordance with global Accounting StandardsPartner with the business to evaluate, interpret and integrate financial information to improve management and cost control of their business unitsIdentify opportunities to maximise revenue and reduce costs by understanding business driversProvide expertise on reporting and analytics and best practice of use of data regarding business decisionsManage and direct transactional functions covering global billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable and payrollDesired Skills and Experience
U will be someone with:5+ years post CA/CPA qualified, tax experience highly regardedExperience working in a fast paced environment with the ability to adaptDemonstrated skills in leading and coaching teamsHigh attention to detailStrong organisational and communication skillsProven experience in transaction processing, financial control and systems administration2 days flexible/hybrid working arrangementEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Study Assistance ProgramAdditional GBST & U day off every yearPaid parental leaveSwapping public holidays with a day of significance for youNovated car leasingDiscounted private health insurance
