This dealership is part of a growing privately owned group that has been going from strength to strength.
They have a mixture of excellent brands, multiple sites and have growth plans in place, which will see them become the major operator in the area.
This role oversees the administration team and experience with the Auto IT system would be well received.
You will need to possess exceptionally good communication abilities and attention to detail, and be capable of leading the administration team.
Above all else, you must show stability in your employment and be able to commit to this role for the long term.
Your main duties in this role will include:
Plan, direct, monitor and control the activities of the Administration DepartmentDay to day, month end and year end accounting and management reportsEnsure all statutory returns are completedCompliance oversightStrategic approach to financial management with Cash flow, forecasting and financial analysisReports for financiers, banks and franchisorsConsultation with suppliers, creditors and debtors controlMaintain, manage and train an efficient administration teamAssisting external accountants in the annual audit and preparation of annual accounts.Applicants for this position must have experience as a Financial Controller within an automotive dealership, or as a Senior Automotive Accountant.
The position will work closely with the senior management team of the group and will report to the Group Financial Controller.
