About the Business Unit: This is an exciting opportunity to deliver a major new initiative for victims of crime. The FAS will provide financial assistance through a simple and easy to navigate process that is fair, sensitive, and responsive to victims' needs.
About the Role: Reporting to a FAS Senior Assessor, you will be responsible for drafting trauma-informed victim recognition statements and coordinating victim recognition meetings.
Some of your duties will include:
Developing trauma-informed victim recognition statements acknowledging and affirming the experience of the victim.Using authoritative knowledge of the relevant processes to assess victim needs and coordinate complex victim recognition meetings.Engaging with key internal and external stakeholders to deliver recognition meetings, including venue logistics and travel arrangements.About You: As our ideal candidate, you will possess:
Experience in direct human service delivery with sensitive and complex needs, working from a trauma-informed perspective.Commitment to pursuing a culturally safe workplace and improved outcomes for Aboriginal people.Commitment to trauma-informed practice and understanding of the victim services system.Qualifications/Requirements: A relevant qualification or equivalent experience in fields related to community and social services, social policy, social work, law, or public administration is desirable.How to Apply: Please click the Apply button on this advertisement.
