Financial Analyst

Contract: 3 monthsPay: $51.26/hour + superLocation: WerribeeRole Overview:Assist in statutory financial reporting functions and contribute to the operational success of the business unit, supporting senior staff and management through effective performance of responsibilities. A background in fixed assets accounting is highly desirable.Key Responsibilities:Complete the organisation's statutory financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.Manage financial and accounting responsibilities, including financial modelling and cash flow management.Deliver high-level service to internal and external stakeholders.Provide financial advice and training to other organisation business units.Contribute to operational success of the department and organisation.Implement and maintain sound risk management practices.Requirements:Oracle experience.Knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards and Council policies.Understanding of applicable taxation and financial legislation.Strong financial modelling and cash flow management skills.Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.Additional Information:Role involves providing advice on finance and accounting policies and is responsible for creating a risk-aware environment within the team.To apply, please submit your resume and a brief cover letter highlighting your relevant experience, particularly your Oracle expertise.
