Job DescriptionAbout your new employer!An opportunity has become available for a Financial Analyst to join a multinational products-based business located in Sydney's West.
This business is forward-thinking and innovative in the way that it engages with its customer base and is currently undertaking some exciting change and projects.About your new role!This truly is a value add role where you will offer analytical insights and business partner with multiple stakeholders across the organisation.
You will wear many hats and be hands-on, proactive and solution-orientated.Some of the key tasks aligned to this role will include: Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.Provide financial insights and analysis for strategic decision-making and ad-hoc projects.Assist in the month-end closing process, including financial reporting and variance analysis.Collaborate in the preparation of annual budgets and long-range financial plans.Manage pricing and rebate models, including product costing.Maintain cost centre reporting and partner with managers to optimize costs.Report on product profitability, including gross margin and customer profitability.Identify opportunities for enhanced automation and visualisation in financial reporting.Continuously improve financial processes and develop financial models for various business units.About You!3-5 years of experience in Financial Analysis.Professional Accounting qualification such as CA or CPA.Products-based industry experience is highly advantageous.Strong financial modelling and analytical skills.Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial software applications.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.What's on offer?Circa $130k - $140k base + super depending on experience and suitability (hourly rate equivalent).6-month contract with possibilities for extension.Penrith surrounds, near public transport.Onsite parking.Exciting analytical and value-add position.Immediate start! #J-18808-Ljbffr
