Reporting directly to the Financial Accounting Manager, this role will provide you great exposure across various parts of finance including financial accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, tax and fixed assets management within a large, global organisation.
A taste of what you'll be doing:
• Supporting the Financial Accounting Manager with month and quarter-end, forecasting, regional reporting and various ad-hoc tasks.
• Work closely with our out-sourced accounts payable providers, ensuring timelines are met and assisting with resolution of queries and any issues that arise.
• Supporting our Order-To-Cash Specialist with manual invoices, and ad-hoc tasks.
• Supporting our Tax Accountant with tax and compliance related lodgements.
• Assisting our Supply Chain Finance team with journals and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Supporting our Fixed Asset team to deliver key processes in compliance with policies.
Your recipe for success:
• Business degree with Accounting Major or Finance
• Minimum 1-2 years accounting experience within FMCG/Retail/Manufacturing or Big 4 working with the above
• High level of attention to detail
• Exposure to an outsourced accounting model
• Experience in SAP and Reporting Consolidation Software
• Ability to prioritise and plan your work to meet various deadlines
• Eagerness to learn and grow your career within Accounting.
