About the role: As a Financial Analyst at Bourke Group, you will report to the Chief Financial Officer & multiple people in the senior leadership team. This role requires a high level of collaboration with internal stakeholders (Operations team, Partners, Directors).
Your responsibilities will include: Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A): Developing and maintaining robust financial models to support business planning and forecasting. Collaborating closely with the line of business to develop comprehensive budgets and forecasts. Conducting in-depth analysis of financial performance and trends, providing valuable insights to senior management. Working with department heads to develop comprehensive budgets and forecasts. Providing commercial advice to the senior management team to support informed decision-making. Effectively presenting financial information to stakeholders, including executives and board members. Building cash flow and liquidity models to ensure stakeholders can provide accurate and timely advice that impacts day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives for clients. Identifying and mitigating risks related to cash management through insight modelling and data analytics. Proactively driving continuous improvement in the financial reporting and control cycle. We are seeking a Financial Analyst with a minimum of 4 years' experience in a financial role, with preference given to those in the professional services industry.
3 plus years' experience with Mondano excel financial modelling suite. Strong financial and data analysis capabilities, including financial modelling skills for comprehensive business performance analysis and forecasting, cash flow monitoring, and projection. Strong technical knowledge and understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting regulations. Familiarity with financial reporting and tax software (Xero mandatory). Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively present information to senior management and other stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Preferred skills: 3 plus years with SQL &/Or data visualisation & consolidation experience is desirable. Bachelor's degree in accounting/commerce or a related field is desirable.
