Job Description Currently we have a brand new opportunity for a Financial Analyst to join our Operations and Strategy Team based in the Sydney CBD.
This role will support the delivery of strategic priorities through financial analysis, financial modeling, and critical thinking about the business.
This will include strategic analysis to support new business initiatives.
This role will serve to support initiatives and improvements that will directly create value for the organization and patients.
Reporting directly into our COO, this is a real opportunity to use your financial analysis, modeling skills and business acumen to deliver value to the organization and develop professionally.
The scope of your role will include: Analyse financial statements and data sets to gain an understanding for underlying drivers of the financial outcomes, and visibility into potential improvements Prepare financial models to evaluate the potential outcomes of new business initiatives and investment opportunities Complete analysis of industry competitors and industry data to identify business opportunities Advise on and participate in the financial aspects of contract negotiation and calls for tender Support the development of innovative patient offerings driven by the completion of financial analysis and modeling Support the development of business solutions through financial analysis Writie reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations Internal stakeholder engagement and building solid relationships with the broader business.
Qualifications We are flexible in regards to background for this role, however the key skills which will ensure your success include; Solid experience in finance or accounting Strong Excel modelling skills Strong financial analysis skills At least 12 months working in a commercial role such as FP&A, accounting or some other related business analyst roles.
Strong understanding of financial management principles Excellent presentation and communication skills, capable of effectively engaging with senior management and other key stakeholders Working closely with the COO you will be given excellent exposure to operational and strategic activities and a real chance to consult, contribute and develop your analytical skills in a very dynamic industry!
