Full-time Permanent role Located in the Perth, CBD Fantastic growth and development opportunities Are you a Financial Accountant with 10 years of industry experience? Are you looking for your next leadership or management opportunity? Are you the type of person who thrives in a fast-paced environment? Then this role might be for you! Snapshot of duties: Provide leadership in technical accounting, including assessments and implementation of new Australian Accounting Standards. Lead year-end reporting and external audit activities, ensuring timely delivery of financial reports. Oversee corporate tax management and ensure appropriate treatment of deferred tax accounting. Manage customer credit risk assessments and financial asset impairments. Implement and monitor controls to mitigate fraud risks and ensure business continuity. Offer strategic accounting, tax, and credit risk management advice to support business decisions. Develop and maintain strong internal and external stakeholder relationships. Desired Skills & Experience: Over 10 years of relevant experience in Accounting, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Accounting degree and CA/CPA certification required. Strong knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards and financial reporting requirements. Effective communication skills, capable of engaging with stakeholders at all levels, including board-level reporting. Proven ability in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.
