Job Description The Senior Group Accountant will be responsible for the following: Lead the financial reports & statutory account preparation process, including disclosures and consolidations Tax: BAS, FBT Be the point of contact for the auditors.
Lead the annual tax accounting and compliance process Board reporting Preparation of accounting position papers Lead the month end accounting process Accounting and tax consolidation work papers Income tax calculations and tax accounting journals Inter-company reconciliations Accounting for investments, derivatives and debt facilities Process improvement initiatives Other ad hoc reports and analysis as requested by the Financial Controller and CFO Support and partner with FP&A team The Successful Applicant CA/CPA Qualified Big-4 or mid-tier audit background preferred Clients or industry exposure with a PPP 3 + Years Experience in industry in a similar role Excellent presentation and communication skills Intermediate to advanced excel skills preferred Strong technical accounting skills What's on Offer Competitive salary/remuneration Opportunity to progress and develop into a managerial position Competitive Bonus/Short term incentives Immediate start Central CBD Offices
