Financial Accountant - Suits Short Notice

The role
This role is a key role, that will take ownership of end of month reporting, while being highly visible and acting as a business partner across the business. Reporting to the Group Finance Manager you will be responsible for the below duties:
Full responsibility of month end reporting Analysis & interpretation of company performance and in depth analysis of clinical performance Establish, implement and maintain accounting policies, procedures and internal controls Preparation of financial statements  Maintain fixed asset register  Dealing with external Accountants, Tax Advisers, and Auditors Being a key member with regards to annual audit and half yearly audit review Compliance requirements of superannuation, GST, PAYG, payroll tax, ABS etc Consolidating monthly results with commentary / analyses of balance sheet movements and income statement variances against budget / forecast About you  Working towards CA/CPA, or already qualified  Strong hands-on month-end experience  Outstanding communicator with a passion for driving change in a scaling environment  Must be available or on up to 2 weeks' notice.
