Your new role As the Financial Accountant, you will be a key member of the finance team supporting the finance requirements of the organisation. You will work closely with the team to provide robust financial information on time and accurately. You will ensure the integrity of the general ledger and ensure all internal financial controls are adhered to.
In detail you will be responsible for:
Month end financial reportingBalance sheet reconciliationsIntercompany transactions and reconciliationsIntercompany rechargesAccounts Payable - assistance with Payment runs, EFTsure verification for all suppliersCalculating accruals/prepayments (expenses and income) and processing journal entriesProperty SettlementsCashflow managementATO reporting - BAS & Instalment Activity StatementsAssistance with preparation of documentation for Annual AuditAd hoc reconciliations and finance tasks as requiredWhat you'll need to succeed It is essential that you can demonstrate experience in a similar role. You must be able to demonstrate solid commercial experience with the ability to manage deadlines. You are detailed in your approach and you are someone who builds lasting relationships with your colleagues and stakeholders. It goes without saying that you have a high level of analytical skills, a high-level of Microsoft Excel and that you have superior written and verbal communication skills.
