ResponsibilitiesA Japanese global company is seeking a Financial Accountant in their office in Sydney CBD.
The key responsibilities and duties of the role:AccountingManage month-end, quarter-end and year-end process including journal preparation, reconciliation, consolidation and reportingPrepare annual statutory accountsManage intra-group transactionsProcess contract invoicingOversee payments and cash flowsManage monthly accrualsTaxation:Liaise with external advisors in the preparation of notional tax returnsPrepare and lodge BAS and FBTMonitor ATO legislationAudit, Budgeting & Project related:Liaise with external auditors for the auditing processesSupport with preparation of budgets and forecastsMonitor and analyse monthly, quarterly, annual accounts and projection of its investmentsMonitor and analyse project costs and expenditures as well as projected costs and revenuesAssist financial activities including project financing, modelling, tax structuringOther adhoc tasks and projects as requiredYour ProfileIn order to be considered for this role you will have the following key attributes, skills and strengths:Must have a similar financial accounting experienceJapanese language skill is preferred but not a mustExperience in ERP is preferredStrong attention to detailExcellent communication skillsAbility to work with various stakeholdersAbility to work collaboratively in a teamPlease register your interest by forwarding your resume via the apply button.
