This role is based at our headquarters in Clayton, Victoria, with some flexibility for remote working arrangements.Key accountabilities include:Supporting the reconciliation of balance sheet accounts and resolving reconcile items in a timely mannerSupporting the month and year end closing activities (Group & Statutory)Supporting the fixed asset project workIdentify and implement automation opportunitiesPreparing the annual risk assessments in accordance with the Central Directives (CD's) applicable for financeSupporting the preparation and review of the site-specific local policies in accordance with the finance CD's, and annual review in line with defined timeline of CD.QualificationsThe role is suited to a qualified accountant, that has either completed or commenced their CPA or CA studies.
The successful candidate will be an engaged team player with a proactive approach to their work, and someone who can communicate effectively with all areas of the business (local & overseas).The candidate will possess:Bachelor's degree in business/commerce/finance or equivalentCPA/CA qualification, or currently enrolled in a CPA/CAExperience in large multinational companies is highly regarded but not essentialA high attention to detail, accuracy, and documentationA proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced MS Excel skillsSAP experience is highly advantageousExcellent communication and presentation skillsThe ability to manage and prioritise strict deadlinesThe ability to initiate continuous improvement activities to increase efficiency of the departmentAn adherence to policies and procedures related to complianceStrong analytical skillsAdditional InformationWe recognise that our employees are our greatest asset.
