Financial Accountant

MARS are partnering with a growing SME who is looking for a Financial Accountant to lead their finance function, including month end, payroll, cashflow forecasting, P&L analysis and accounts payable.The Responsibilities:Compile precise financial statements and coordinate month-end closing activities.Update and track cashflow reports to ensure reliable forecasting.Lead and guide the accounting team.Conduct regular balance sheet reviews and reconciliations.Review and analyse Profit and Loss statements.Prepare and submit statutory reports, including BAS, PAYG, and payroll tax.Support Accounts Payable operations by managing vendor payments, processing invoices, and preparing reports for the Managing Director.Preparation of payroll and reporting.The Requirements:Part or CA/CPA qualified.Minimum 4 years' experience in a similar accounting position.Proficiency in using Xero and Salesforce (preferable).Strong understanding of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.Experience in the Events, Retail or Hospitality industries (preferable).Strong verbal and written communication skills.If you're interested in hearing more about this role, please apply to the role directly.
