? Prepare fixed assets register by monitoring and editing depreciation, disposals and additions.
? Perform WIP reconciliations and associated assessment.
? Perform assets management, Capex tracking, WIP reconciliation review, asset impairment and disposal /write off to ensure the FA register list is accurate and up to date.
? Perform balance sheet reconciliations and follow up any issues identified from the process.
? Actively involved in the month-end processing, including the processing of all journals in Group, Finance and Consolidated entities.
? Participate in the month-end closing, i.e. interest on loan facilities and reconciliation and revenue deferrals including liaising with the sales team and identifying abnormal cycle billings.
? Draft monthly reporting, such as Cash Balance, Loan covenants and CashFlow reporting etc.
? Perform extraordinary items reconciliation and analysis.
? Perform balance sheet reconciliations and follow up any issues identified from the process.? Drive the sales commissions validation process.
? Apply Sales Incentive Plan to validate sales commission and determine if the opportunities in salesforce meet the sales commission policy criteria.
? Create relationships with the key business partners and a clear understanding of the sales commissions process.
? Lead commission meetings on issues and provide feedback.
? Calculate commissions and send out commission reports to salespersons and payroll.
? Provide required reporting & analysis to Leadership Team.
? Prepare ABS survey and NZ survey report.
? Assist on statutory accounts at half year end and year end, such as notes disclosures in the statutory Group accounts etc.
? Prepare NZ statutory financial statements.
? Assist on the audit queries, further analysis or reconciliation during half year review and year end audit, budget and forecasting, cash flow reforecasting, loan covenants compliance etc.
Degree qualified, CPA or CA qualified Good understanding of accounting principles and apply them to work Attention to detail. Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines. Ability to lead a small high performing team. Ability to challenge the current process and make improvements Strong communication skills and organisational ability.
