Financial Accountant

The company is a high growth Healthcare group. Leveraging its reputation for excellence and innovation, it enjoys a prominent position in its field and offers a range of cutting-edge products and services across Australia, through its expanding portfolio of businesses. Its strategic growth has included a number of acquisitions, with several more in the pipeline and plans for commercial development of each of its businesses.
With this ongoing growth plan in mind, it is seeking a Financial Accountant to join a tight knit and high calibre financial reporting team and support the management and continuous improvement of the finance function. This will include:
Delivering all reporting for the portfolio of businesses.Contribute to projects to improve finance processes and systems.Support Finance Manager and external advisors on a number of tax strategy projects.Providing accounting support and advice relating to new investments and business acquisitions.Supporting projects that enable finance to better support the business.This opportunity will provide exposure to exceptional leaders and enable you to deeply understand the group and each of its businesses. You will be report to, and be mentored by, a high calibre Big 4 trained Finance Manager and benefit from a structured succession plan in this team. 
Office location is North Ryde with flexible/hybrid working, easy access to public transport and onsite parking.
The successful candidate will be CA qualified, working in a Big 4 or other large audit/advisory firm, with a strong technical foundation, commercial curiosity and proactive attitude that will see you continually expand the depth and breadth of your responsibilities.
