Join our team and be a part of this exciting time in Standards Australia's journey!About the roleThe primary role of the Financial Accountant is to ensure all financial information is accurately collected, analysed, interpreted and reported in a timely manner. This role is responsible for month-end close tasks, preparing balance sheet reconciliations, internal project reporting and assistance with statutory tax & financial reporting obligations.This is a 14 month fixed term contract.What you'll doPerform month-end financial accounting tasks, including journal postings and balance sheet reconciliations.Assist with month-end P&L and balance sheet variance analysis.Assist with preparation of year-end statutory accounts including preparation of audit work papers and audit requests.Assist with tax reporting obligations including FBT, Workers Compensation and preparation of monthly BASs.Preparation of externally funded projects reporting and holding meetings with project managers.Ad hoc duties as required.About youAt least 3-5 years' experience in a similar role.CPA/CA qualified.Experience with Microsoft Dynamics, Microsoft Great Plains, or similar applications.Culture & BenefitsStandards Australia is proud to have been awarded the prestigious Employer of Choice Award for two consecutive years, 2023 and 2024!
