We are seeking dynamic individuals to join our team as future-thinking Accountants.The roleIn this role, you'll provide essential accounting services, ensuring that Botanic Gardens of Sydney's financial records are accurate, timely, and compliant. With responsibility for the integrity of the general ledger and statutory financial reporting, you'll coordinate processes across monthly reconciliations, bank account management, and capital work reviews. Additionally, you'll play a key part in preparing financial data and reports, supporting the organization's strategic goals.Working across a dynamic portfolio, you'll adapt to changing conditions and manage competing priorities while upholding reporting accuracy. This role is integral to audit readiness and legislative compliance, requiring sound judgment, proactive improvements, and strong collaboration with finance stakeholders.What you will bring to the roleIdeal candidates are proactive problem-solvers with a strong foundation in accounting principles and a keen interest in collaborating with stakeholders to ensure organisational outcomes are achieved.
