Help keep fighter jets and commercial aircraft flying all over the world.
Your duties will include: Understanding the drivers of the military programs within your portfolio to ensure accurate invoicing, P&L review and Balance reconciliations; Championing controls, processes and having an aim of continuous improvement in the processes within your role; Preparing monthly capital reporting and analysis for stakeholders; Building strong relationships with Finance stakeholders inside and outside of the business; Supporting the annual financial audit, budgeting and periodic forecasting processes.
The ideal candidate will possess: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, plus 3-5 years of experience in a general accounting position.
Achievement or progress toward a professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA/CA) is a plus.
Experience in manufacturing, inventory, repair and overhaul, and cost accounting is a plus.
Active curiousity in understanding data and what is driving it; Ability to ask open ended questions and integrate data from multiple sources with the aim of providing alternatives to complex problems; Excellent verbal and written communication and the ability to discern the appropriate mode of communication in a situation; Proficient in Microsoft Excel and experience with integrated ERP systems (IFS exposure a plus); A passion and drive to deliver to keep their customers flying.
