As the Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for:
Providing quality financial management information and facilitating the understanding, implementation and ongoing management of accounting and financial compliance requirements.A strong background in finance with a minimum of 5 years' experience, specifically in month-end financial preparation.A strong advocate for continuous improvement and a team leader determined to support business progression.Play a key role in providing day-to-day support for operational areas and covering compliance matters.About You 5-years' experience in a similar role.Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent.CPA or CA qualified.Significant experience in month-end financial results preparation, including journal entries & monthly balance sheet reconciliations for accruals, prepayments, depreciation, employee provisions, and revenue recognition.Undertakes trend analysis and assists in preparing financial reports.Prepares weekly cashflow reports.Experience in preparing and reconciling BAS, PAYG & Superannuation returns. (Leave and Salary Packaging an advantage).Hands on experience in processing payroll.Day-to-day supervision of the Finance Officer including review and approval of their work.Strong attention to detail.Identifies opportunities for process improvement and cost savings.Initial contact with operational personnel for day-to-day matters.Working knowledge of ERP systems such as MYOB Acumatica, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Oracle NetSuite or similar.Familiarity with Employment Hero an advantage.Knowledge of grant funding and acquittals within an NGO setting an advantage.What we offer Kambu Health embraces equal employment opportunities and we encourage Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to apply.
