We now have an opportunity for an experienced Financial Accountant to join the Finance team at RAC Insurance. This role, reporting to the Senior Financial Accountant, is an exciting opportunity to provide financial reporting and analysis within the RAC Insurance division and be involved in key initiatives that support our data and digital strategy, as well as being responsible for broad and varied financial accounting duties. This role initially is a full-time 12-month contract. What will you be doing? Performing month-end journals, reconciliations and resolving discrepancies with an initial focus on the Agency line of business Preparing financial reports and variances analysis Supporting cash flow processing and reconciliations Supporting the preparation of statutory and regulatory reports, including APRA returns and Annual Financial statements

What are we looking for? Demonstrated experience in a Financial Accountant role Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and communicate complex information to a diverse audience Forward thinking with strong planning and organization skills Ability to communicate, engage and influence effectively Ability to work autonomously with demonstrated initiative CA / CPA qualified (minimum 3-years post qualified) and relevant tertiary qualification Insurance/Finance industry experience highly desirable
