We now have an opportunity for an experienced Financial Accountant to join the Finance team at RAC Insurance.
This role, reporting to the Senior Financial Accountant, is an exciting opportunity to provide financial reporting and analysis within the RAC Insurance division and be involved in key initiatives that support our data and digital strategy, as well as being responsible for broad and varied financial accounting duties.
This role initially is a full-time 12-month contract.
What will you be doing?Performing month-end journals, reconciliations and resolving discrepancies with an initial focus on the Agency line of businessPreparing financial reports and variances analysisSupporting cash flow processing and reconciliationsSupporting the preparation of statutory and regulatory reports, including APRA returns and Annual Financial statementsWhat are we looking for?Demonstrated experience in a Financial Accountant roleAnalytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and communicate complex information to a diverse audienceForward thinking with strong planning and organization skillsAbility to communicate, engage and influence effectivelyAbility to work autonomously with demonstrated initiativeCA / CPA qualified (minimum 3-years post qualified) and relevant tertiary qualificationInsurance/Finance industry experience highly desirableWhat can we offer you?A workplace culture where our people feel valued, respected and empoweredWork in flexible ways (hybrid workplace model) that meet work/life commitments and support wellbeingBe part of a purpose led organisation that gives back to the WA communityAn environment that values ongoing career developmentOpportunities for community engagement and corporate volunteeringApply online now by sending us your cover letter and CV showcasing what you can bring to the team.
