As in your role you will help more people live well and enjoy confident lives.A great opportunity exists to join Zurich's General Insurance division as a Financial Accountant.In this role, you will be part of a team that works with a range of stakeholders to provide professional accounting services to the General Insurance Financial Reporting Team.
You will be responsible for the preparation of month end journals and reconciliations, maintaining the chart of accounts in accordance with local and Group requirements, preparing and analysing indirect taxes, identifying and complying with the main principles relevant to legal and regulatory controls, including International Financial Reporting Standards, amongst others, that govern standard work practices.
In addition, you will assist with the preparation of financial reporting requirements for the General Insurance Business.Important to your success - Unlock your potentialStrong financial accounting background with CPA/CA qualificationsGeneral Insurance experience highly desirableUnderstanding of financial statements, IFRS and AIFRS financial reporting requirementsExperience with SAP and underwriting systems would be advantageousExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsBelong.
