Due to the continuous organic growth & acquisition, a new role has been created in the Finance team for a forward-thinking individual to join our dynamic team.
The organisation is entering into an exciting phase where process improvement and digital transformation will be the main agenda.
Working closely with the finance team and operational key stakeholders, your job responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
General ledger and balance sheet reconciliationsMaintain fixed asset registersAssisting with BAS & GST returnsSupport delivering monthly management reportsEnsuring all assigned journals, accruals, reconciliation and reports are prepared in accordance per group reporting requirements in a timely manner.Manage the A/P - AR teamSupport the preparation of budgets, forecasts and other financial analysisAssist with year-end audit processParticipate in project work, including implementation of strategic projectTo be successful in this role you'll have: 2-3 years' experience in a small to medium scale corporate business with a good understanding of accounting principlesProficiency in the use of Financial SystemsStrong computer software skills, including advanced knowledge and use of ExcelAbility to drive improvements and meet deadlinesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAdvanced problem solving and analytical skillsFlexibility and willingness to take on additional responsibilities within the team as requiredFlexibility to travel within Australia will be an advantageHold a driver's licencePlease note that we kindly request no unsolicited contact.
