The Role This role will support the Director while others in the finance team are seconded to some project work.
The business is located in the inner Northern Suburbs & easily accessible via Public Transport.
This role supports hybrid working and will allow 2 days working from home each week.
Reporting to the Finance Director you will be responsible for: Timely & accurate month-end and year-end reporting Production of all accounting reports Complex reconciliations Detailed and complex revenue reporting Accurate reporting of acquittals Ensuring compliance with current accounting standards Statutory Reporting Assist Senior Finance Manager with end of financial year audit Ensuring all financial management systems (including governance policies, procurement policies, risk management and statutory compliance) are in place and adhered to Providing leadership, direction and feedback within the team when required Your Profile To be successful you will have proven experience in a similar role, managing small to medium size teams with proven technical accounting experience.
The following attributes will also be highly advantageous: Proven team mentorship experience Strong Financial Accounting background Ability to generate meaningful and readily understood reports for senior management Knowledge of accounting principles Excellent communication skills Strong relationships with internal and external parties Inter-personal, clear concise communication and approachability skills are directly linked to your potential success within this role.
