As the Financial Accountant you will complete accurate and detailed financial analysis to enable the VIC Finance Manager to make informed decisions on behalf of the company.
This role with have the option of working from either our Blackburn or Melbourne office.
At all times ensuring a high level of attention to detail, the Financial Accountant will: Complete monthly processes including journals and balance sheet reconciliations.
Assist with acquittal reporting to external parties.
Prepare and assist with internal and external audit requirements Assist with annual budgeting process.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and company policies Provide additional appropriate support to wider team and organisation.
About You To be successful in this role, you will have the following: Business degree - Accounting, Commerce or Economics Minimum 3 years' financial accounting experience in a complex organisation High level of attention to detail Commitment to the right of every person to good quality housing Satisfactory Police Check Please note that satisfactory police check is required for all staff and those with client related responsibilities are required to provide a NDIS and Working with Children Check (WWCC).
