This position will evolve into a Finance Business Partner role, offering opportunities for increased stakeholder engagement and influence within the organization.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.Manage trust queries and provide comprehensive financial accounting support.Oversee transactional and payroll teams, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing insights to support decision-making.Ensure timely reconciliation of accounts, including bank reconciliations and general ledger accounts.Collaborate with various departments to provide financial insights and mentorship.Support audit processes and address any inquiries related to financial matters.Ensure compliance with accounting standards and organizational policies.Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial efficiency.Qualifications: CPA or CA qualified.Relevant experience in financial accounting, preferably within the Australian context.Background in auditing is advantageous.Demonstrated experience in business partnering and mentoring.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. #J-18808-Ljbffr
