Located at our global head office in Kilsyth, Melbourne, we are seeking a Financial Accountant to join our dynamic Finance team to support operations, this is a 12 months maternity cover contract position and is available to start in December.

To be successful in this role you will possess the following qualifications, skills and experience: Ideally 5+ years' experience and CA/CPA qualified.
Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process.
Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills (lookups, pivot tables).
JDE or major ERP Experience would be highly regarded.
The ability to work with minimal supervision and meet set deadlines.
Your duties will include but not limited to: Maintaining the finance and accounting operations for ARB Middle East and ARB Head Office Manufacturing.
Maintain foreign currency bank reconciliations.
Maintain the fixed asset register for ARB Middle East.
Group fleet reporting.
Preparation and submission of ARB Middle East payroll.
Maintain details of ARB rebate programs.
Completion and review of monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations including timely clearance of reconciling items.
Assist in the timely preparation of monthly board packs.
Assist with day to day operations of the wider Finance department as required.
Responsibility for Intercompany remittances for monthly balance transfers.
Undertake ad-hoc projects as requested by management.
