What you'll do:As a Financial Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing all aspects of our client's accounting operations. Your responsibilities will include managing billing, accounts receivable/payable, general ledger, cost accounting, inventory accounting, and revenue recognition. You will also coordinate and direct the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts while preparing timely monthly financial statements. Additionally, you will be tasked with coordinating the preparation of regulatory reports while researching technical accounting issues for compliance. Your role will also involve supporting the month-end and year-end close process.Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL and Counsel, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue RecognitionCoordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variancesPrepare and publish timely monthly financial statementsCoordinate the preparation of regulatory reportingResearch technical accounting issues for complianceSupport month-end and year-end close processWhat you bring:The ideal candidate for this Financial Accountant position brings proven experience in a similar role along with advanced knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software. You should have an in-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GA AP) and familiarity with financial accounting statements. Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process is essential. Your excellent analytically skills coupled with your attention to detail will make you successful in this role.Proven experience as a Financial Accountant or similar roleAdvanced knowledge of MS Excel and accounting softwareIn-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)Familiarity with financial accounting statementsExperience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close processExcellent analytically skills with an attention to detailWhat sets this company apart:Our client is renowned for its commitment to employee growth and development.
