Working with us means working with the latest technologies and groundbreaking, sustainable innovations.Join us on our journey for a better tomorrow.The role of the Financial Accountant in Australia is supporting the Business Controller to manage VT Australia companies' finance book, do finance reporting and analysis of business results, and implement business control of the region.He/she will also be part of the SEA GV CC finance team to do accounting and reporting and analysis of business results for the region.Main ResponsibilitiesMain contact person for the finance matters of VT AustraliaResponsible for the finance book of AVT Service company and finance reporting of VT AustraliaLead monthly closing process in MYOB, SAP, and group reporting system in ANZ regionManage the month-end close process to ensure timely and accurate financial statementsPrepare balance sheet account reconciliations on a monthly basisEnsure accurate reporting by developing and utilizing analytical tools to identify and follow up anomaliesDevelop TSM reports for workshop efficiency and review sales marginsStock control including stock takesEnsure full compliance with all legal and corporate regulationsMitigate tax risks by highlighting any tax updates & issues in advanceCoordination of tax audit, tax calculation, tax filing, and optimization (including lodgement of PAYG and GST, FBT)Support any periodic/special tax audits or queriesCommunication with banks, lawyers, government, auditors, etc.Coordination of financial audits, transfer price audits, internal and external auditsPreparation and analysis of monthly reports for local managementProvide AR Aging analysis and follow up on customer overdueSupport the Business Controller in business control and all financial topics in the ANZ regionContinuous improvements for all finance-related processesOther tasks assigned by the managerKnowledge & SkillsDegree in Accounting and/or preferably a professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA)Very good knowledge of local GAAP, Tax, IFRS, and other local regulationsGood accounting skills and analytical abilityExperience in full set of accounting is preferableProficient in Microsoft Office applications; SAP/Power BI Knowledge is an advantageExperience in MYOB and TSM is an advantagePersonalityExcellent communication and interpersonal skills requiredA reliable, organized, and meticulous team player with a positive mindsetProactive, integrity, and quality workTake ownership and have an excellent working attitudePossess flexibility and the ability to effectively perform multiple functions at a timeAbility to work under pressure and still meet deadlines without making errorsKeen on learning new things and continuous improvementBelieve there is always a better wayExperienceAt least 3 years of experience in accounting, especially AR, AP, GL, reporting, and TaxationDiverse by nature and inclusive by choiceBright ideas come from all of us.
