DHL Group aims to achieve net-zero emissions logistics by 2050.Overall Role PurposeA Financial Accountant is responsible for:Executing RTR finance processes in compliance with DPDHL policies, global SOPs, local SOPs and local regulatory requirements (legal and tax).Using functional knowledge to apply relevant and appropriate levels of judgment and decision making.Working closely with offshore shared service team to ensure open lines of communication.Resolution of issues from balance sheet reconciliations and the month end close process.Responsible for local regulatory reporting, statistics and ad-hoc requests.Reporting to head office and regional office when required.Ensuring month end close tasks are completed within MEC calendar time frames.Supporting internal and external auditors with their requests.Skills / QualificationsTertiary qualified in Finance or an equivalent qualification.Two (2) to three (3) years of work experience in a related field.Proven hands-on experience in accounting systems and analytical tools.Excellent accounting knowledge.Good knowledge of accounting standards, and statutory, regulatory, and legal requirements.Solid experience in MS Excel (e.g.
Pivot Tables, charts, etc.)
