Financial Accountant

Varied role with career progression and a supportive team Located in the inner northwest of Melbourne Salary $90K – $100K + Super The Company A world leading equipment service provider for the transport industry. This is a successfully expanding business with head office located near Airport West. The Position This opportunity is for a mid-level Financial Accountant. You will be responsible for recording, collating, and reporting transactions from all business operations. Key Responsibilities: Updating workflows and procedures to support the achievement of all monthly / year end objectives Preparing and analysing the monthly P&L and balance sheet reports General ledger account reconciliations Assisting in preparing budgets Statutory Tax reporting, (BAS, payroll and FBT) and inventory processing Collecting and analysing data Advising on estimates on project funding Updating KPI's Preparing actual and forecast cashflow statements Co-ordination and preparation of year end accounts, assisting with statutory account activities Providing ongoing support for the stakeholders The Person An accounting degree, CA or CPA is encouraged but not necessary Several years experience as a Financial Accountant with commercial and business awareness Good working knowledge of Excel Knowledge of BC-365 and Power Bi, otherwise training can be provided Payroll experience Exceptional people and time management skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
