Job Description
What you will do:
You will primarily deliver financial accounting services to the business' stakeholders and coordinate and finalise month-end processes with priority and efficiency. Reporting to and supporting our Financial Controller, this is a hands-on, transactional position, where you will be responsible for:
Month-end accounting,
Technical accounting standard guidance to the business,
Fixed asset accounting and maintenance of fixed asset registers,
Monthly balance sheet reconciliations,
Detailed financial reporting and analysis,
Tax compliance work including tax return, BAS and FBT preparation,
Partnering with key business stakeholders and shared services function, and
Supporting the Financial Controller with ad hoc project tasks including automation and process improvement initiatives.
What you will bring: Minimum 2 years' experience either in a comparable role, commercial environment or via diversified public practice experience. CA/CPA qualification essential. We welcome you to bring fresh ideas, innovation and a continued drive to connect and drive relationships.
