This role offers a great opportunity for a Financial Accountant where your work will be crucial in offering valuable financial insight and analysis to help drive business improvement. We place a strong emphasis on work-life balance, offering a flexible and manageable pace, while still meeting the dynamic needs of the business.Key responsibilities will include:Assistance with Month-End and Year-End reconciliations, consolidation entries and financial reporting disclosures, ensuring high standards of accuracy and timelinessAssist the FC & Group Reporting Manager (GRM) on the external audit process and preparation of year-end and half-year end financial statementsResponsible for the Group's lease accounting in accordance with AASB 16Assist with Group tax obligations including preparation of BAS returnsWork with GRM on the Group's fixed asset Management and depreciationDeveloping, harmonising, and strengthening internal controls and processes across the business unitsFacilitate changes to group accounting systems, identifying opportunities for improvements, and working with the team to streamline financial processes and toolsManage special projects and tasks as directed by the CFO/FC/GRMABOUT YOUTo excel in this role, you will thrive in a close-knit, supportive team environment, where collaboration is key. You will be comfortable adapting to changing priorities and contributing to the overall success of the team.
